Assisted living relief deadline: May 23

The deadline for residential care facilities applying for relief funds made available through HB 169 is next Monday, May 23 at 5:00PM. LeadingAge Ohio has been working one-on-one with providers who have yet to apply for funds, as well as fielding questions from providers who have applied for funds but received denial letters or not heard the status of their applications for many weeks. This week, the Department of Aging shared an updated list of fifty providers that had yet to apply for funds, only two of which are LeadingAge Ohio members. They also noted that the process is described in full on the ARPA Provider Relief Payments website in a webinar and also in a frequently asked questions document. LeadingAge Ohio has advocated for one final extension beyond the Monday deadline, to allow time for all providers to receive the relief funds.
